​The farmhouse in Bangalore is designed following the permaculture principles, with zoning and sector mapping guiding the spatial organization. The zones transition from 0 to 5, 0 being the habitant zone with most maintenance to zone 5 which is wild area with least maintenance, creating a balance between human activity and ecological integrity. These zones were thoughtfully positioned based after a detailed site analysis. The design incorporates layered planting to maximize biodiversity and integrates nitrogen-fixing species to enhance soil health and sustainability.
