Located in proximity to the Diu fort, the church reflects the history of Portuguese Settlements in Diu. The church garden is an extension of the larger public plaza in front, functioning as a dynamic and engaging spillover space. ​

The garden design incorporates elements from the classical Portuguese landscape, defining spaces through a strong axial geometry, creating a sense of balance in the flow of spaces. The curated planting palette integrates structured box hedges with native and coastal-adapted species for resilience. The design prioritizes the preservation of mature existing trees, including the 40-year-old hoka palm, which becomes an integral element of the landscape. Shaded seating areas under the preserved trees and reflective water features offer spaces for passive engagement.​
