Landscape Architect QUEST
The architecture of the house in its form is symmetrical and connects to the internal landscape through a series of themed courtyards. The external landscape is visually connected to the house via a central axis. The axis is strongly anchored by a prominent banyan tree at its center.
As we enter the landscape, the views are framed with layered planting, gradually revealing a lotus-filled water body with a deck — a pause point for seating and gathering. As one moves further, the landscape shifts in texture and tone, unfolding into an open event lawn designed for larger social gatherings defined by organic edges and open sightlines.

The Butea grove explores seasonal character and is also symbolic to the symmetry of the house. The Chikoo grove adds texture, and a sunken seating along the walkway offers a seating area amidst the dense canopy.

Meandering paths connect these elements back toward the main driveway, stitching together a landscape that is both structured and organic — a spatial rhythm that evolves from formality to forest and back again.
